Introduction

We’re delighted to welcome you to the Craft Action Network (CAN)

Invite your friends and colleagues!

Be active. Be heard…
Perhaps you’re visiting the site to glean some new ideas for an educational project or unit of work. You might feel that it would be useful to find out what others have done in a similar vein. Or, you’re excited about a piece of work, and the response it’s received from those participating. All of these can be shared productively within the CAN community.

Find out more about CAN, such as how it can be used to support your professional practice. Even if you’re a technology whizz, we suggest you read our How to use this site page to find out more about the different sections, including the ‘Action’ and ‘Voice’ areas, where the magic happens…

Whether you stumbled across this site, or were told about it, your being here shows just how committed and serious you are about your work, so why not tell us a bit more? To get everyone talking, we’ve identified three general topic categories in the Forum where you can share your thoughts about craft education...

Finally, we’d like to highlight that the Craft Action Network (CAN) is a social network created by the Crafts Council. It uses the Ning Platform – you can read their third party Terms of Service here.

Thanks again for joining us – we hope you enjoy networking with CAN!
